Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Choose suitable mounting location in vehicle.

  1. Disconnect vehicle battery negative terminal before installation.
  2. Mount amplifier: Secure to solid surface using provided hardware.
  3. Connect power: Run 4-gauge power cable from battery to amplifier.
  4. Connect ground: Use short ground cable to vehicle chassis.
  5. Connect remote turn-on: Connect to head unit remote wire.
  6. Connect audio inputs: Use RCA cables from head unit to amplifier.
  7. Connect speakers: Use appropriate gauge speaker wire.

WARNING! Ensure proper fuse rating (60A recommended) near battery connection. Route cables away from moving parts and heat sources.

First-Time Setup

Reconnect battery; power on system; configure settings.

  1. Set gain control: Start at minimum, adjust while playing music at 3/4 volume.
  2. Set crossover: Choose low-pass for subwoofers or high-pass for full-range speakers.
  3. Set bass boost: Start at minimum, adjust to preference.
  4. Test operation: Verify all channels working properly.

CAUTION! Do not set gain too high to avoid distortion and speaker damage.

Specifications

Controls and Settings

Access controls on amplifier end panel. Front Panel: Power LED (blue), Protection LED (red).

Controls: Gain Control, Low-Pass Crossover, Bass Boost, Remote Bass Connection.

Gain: Adjusts input sensitivity (start low, increase gradually). Crossover: Sets frequency cutoff (50-250Hz). Bass Boost: Increases bass at 45Hz (use sparingly). Phase: 0° or 180° for speaker alignment.

Connecting Devices

Power: 4-gauge power cable to battery. Ground: 4-gauge to chassis. Audio: RCA inputs from head unit. Speakers: 2-channel or bridged mono.

  1. Disconnect battery before making connections.
  2. Use proper gauge wire for all connections.
  3. Secure all connections tightly.
  4. Route RCA cables away from power wires.

Tip: Use distribution blocks for multiple amplifiers.

Operation Guidelines

Optimize performance with proper settings.

  1. Power sequence: Turn on head unit first, then amplifier.
  2. Volume control: Set head unit to 3/4 maximum volume when setting gain.
  3. Crossover settings: Use low-pass for subwoofers (80Hz recommended).
  4. Bass boost: Use moderately to avoid distortion.
  5. Cooling: Ensure adequate ventilation around amplifier.

WARNING! Do not operate with impedance below specified minimum. Avoid clipping distortion.

Protection Features

Thermal Protection: Automatically shuts down if temperature exceeds safe limits. Overload Protection: Protects against excessive current draw. Short Circuit Protection: Prevents damage from speaker wire shorts. DC Offset Protection: Guards against DC voltage at outputs.

Care & Maintenance

Keep amplifier clean and dry. Check connections periodically for tightness. Ensure proper ventilation around amplifier.

CAUTION! Do not use liquids for cleaning. Disconnect power before servicing.
