Installation Requirements

Professional installation recommended. Gather required tools and review vehicle wiring before beginning.

  1. Disconnect vehicle battery negative terminal before installation.
  2. Locate suitable mounting location for control module (dry, secure area).
  3. Identify vehicle wiring points: ignition, door locks, parking lights, horn.
  4. Route wiring harness avoiding moving parts and heat sources.
  5. Mount shock sensor on solid metal surface away from vibration sources.

WARNING! Always disconnect vehicle battery before beginning installation to prevent electrical damage or injury.

Wiring Connections

Connect wiring harness according to vehicle-specific wiring diagram.

  1. Power Connections: Red wire to constant 12V+, Black wire to chassis ground.
  2. Ignition Wires: Connect to vehicle ignition harness (refer to wiring guide).
  3. Door Lock Wires: Connect to power lock system (5-wire reverse polarity).
  4. Security Features: Connect to horn, parking lights, and door triggers.
  5. Remote Start: Connect to starter, brake, and tachometer wires.

CAUTION! Use proper wire taps and soldering for secure connections. Test all connections before final assembly.

Programming Instructions

System programming is required for vehicle-specific operation.

  1. Reconnect vehicle battery and enter programming mode.
  2. Use valet switch to cycle through programming options.
  3. Set door lock type: negative pulse, positive pulse, or reverse polarity.
  4. Configure remote start parameters: runtime, tach learning, brake safety.
  5. Program security features: shock sensor sensitivity, alarm duration.
  6. Exit programming mode and test all functions.

NOTE: Default programming code is 1234. Change code for security.

Remote Programming

Program additional remotes or replace lost remotes.

  1. Enter programming mode using valet switch and ignition key.
  2. Press and hold remote buttons until LED confirmation.
  3. Test remote functions: lock, unlock, panic, remote start.
  4. Program up to 4 remotes per system.
  5. Exit programming mode and verify operation.

TIP: Keep original remote as master for programming additional units.

System Testing

Thoroughly test all system functions before completing installation.

  1. Test remote functions: range check from various distances.
  2. Verify security features: shock sensor, door triggers, siren.
  3. Test remote start: engine cranking, runtime, safety features.
  4. Check door lock operation: both lock and unlock functions.
  5. Verify LED indicator shows proper arming status.
  6. Test valet mode operation and exit procedure.

WARNING! Ensure all safety features function properly, especially brake shut-off for remote start.
