Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place near Genie HD DVR and router.

  1. Connect to Genie DVR: Use USB cable to connect GenieGo to Genie HD DVR.
  2. Connect to network: Use Ethernet cable to router or connect via Wi-Fi.
  3. Connect power: Plug power adapter into electrical outlet.
  4. Install mobile app: Download DIRECTV App from app store.

WARNING! Ensure proper ventilation; do not block air vents. Use included power adapter only.

First-Time Setup

Power on GenieGo; follow setup process.

  1. Device recognition: Genie DVR should automatically detect GenieGo.
