Installation Overview

Proper installation requires clear line of sight to southern sky and secure mounting.

  1. Choose installation location with clear view of southern sky (101°W, 99°W, 103°W satellites)
  2. Assemble dish components according to manufacturer instructions
  3. Mount dish securely on roof, wall, or ground mount
  4. Align dish for optimal signal strength
  5. Run coaxial cables to receiver location
  6. Connect to DIRECTV receiver and activate service

WARNING! Working at heights requires proper safety equipment. Use extreme caution when installing on roofs.

Mounting the Dish

Select stable mounting surface that can support dish in high winds.
