DIRECTV Gemini & Gemini Air (2023–2025)

• No Power / Won’t Turn On: Unplug power cord for 60 seconds; ensure LED is white (standby) or blue (on).
• Remote Not Pairing: Press & hold DASH (-) and APPS buttons for 5 sec → follow on-screen pairing.
• No Picture / “No Signal”: Confirm HDMI cable is in “Gemini” labeled port; power cycle TV and Gemini.
• Apps Crashing / Slow: Settings → Device Preferences → About → Restart; or factory reset (hold red button 15 sec).
• Wi-Fi Disconnecting: Settings → Network → forget network and re-enter password; prefer 5 GHz band.

DIRECTV Genie & Genie 2 (HR54 / HS17)

• Recording Failed / “Error 771”: Restart entire system (red button inside access card door).
• Clients Not Connecting: Press & hold red reset button on Genie server for 10 sec.
• 4K Not Working: Use HDMI 2.0+ cable; confirm receiver is C61K or newer and channel is 104–106.

DIRECTV Stream Box (Osprey / Android TV)

• Remote Voice Not Working: Hold mic button → say “pair remote”; replace AAA batteries.
• Black Screen on Restart: Unplug both ends of HDMI for 30 sec; try different HDMI port.
• Buffering / Low Quality: Run speed test in Google Play Store; need minimum 25 Mbps per 4K stream.
